Daniel Sturridge is proving every bit a loan success as Jack Wilshire had been last season for Bolton. His fourth goal in four games is turning Owen Coyle into a very successful bargain hunter. Pretty soon, Owen Coyle will have a reputation for a bargain as formidable as Big Sam or Harry Redknapp.
His instinctive talents have moved Bolton up to seventh place, nicely positioning the Trotters for a late assault on a Europa League place next season.
Here's a video of Sturridge playing in the Chelsea reserves, underlining Coyle's statement of being a natural goalscorer.
Now that Chelsea shelled out a small fortune for Fernando Torres, will Sturridge get that much needed chance to show his prodigious talents in Chelsea blue? It is proving ironic that Sturridge is firing on all cylinders while the much vaunted Chelsea world class trio of Torres, Drogba and Anelka is floundering.
